Imagine: your phone rings and on the other end of the line is Phoebe, your digital personal safety assistant for daily use. In Safe Zone your life is safe, protected and risk-free. But how do you look at the people around you, who looks suspicious and who will protect you against yourself? In the news we are constantly confronted with the dangers that can disrupt or threaten our daily lives in one blow. In a poetic musical experience, Safe Zone examines the security industry and how we can defend ourselves against collective fear.

Before HUBS IMMERSIVE Festival starts Hilde will have a residency in CLOUD/Danslab in The Hague. You are invited to follow her creation process by joining the Creative HUBS Exchange at CLOUD on the 27th of September, 19.00 hrs.

About Hilde Tuinstra
Theatremaker Hilde Tuinstra graduated at the directing course of the Theatre school in Amsterdam in 2015. She worked together with Berlin based performance groups like Gob Squad and She She Pop and created several theatre productions on festivals in the Netherlands, Germany & Denmark. With her new interdisciplinary theatre group Shift Happens, she creates site-specific theatre productions, bringing to life possible future scenarios and showing shifts in society through technological developments.
